Step outside into space with astronaut Jeff Williams @astro_jeffw (shown here). He and Kate Rubins successfully installed the first of two international docking adapters (IDAs) Friday during a spacewalk. The IDAs will be used for the future arrivals of Boeing and SpaceX commercial crew spacecraft in development under our Commercial Crew Program. On Sept. 1, the two astronauts will spacewalk outside the space station (@ISS) for the second time in less than two weeks.
