Expedition 37 NASA Flight Engineer Michael Hopkins waves to friends and family at a news conference held at the Cosmonaut Hotel, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Launch will send Hopkins, Soyuz Commander Oleg Kotov and Russian Flight Engineer Sergei Ryazanskiy on a five and a half-month mission aboard the International Space Station.
