Here's some helpful tips of what to do if leather gets wet.
Dry it slowly. If your leather gets too wet then dry it slowly. Dry it off with a towel and stuff or place newspaper in your leather item in the inserts. Let the newspapers absorb the moistness from within.
Remember let the leather dry slowly and at room temperature.
Unless you're a cow, remember:
Don't dry your leather in the sun.
Don't dry your leather with a hair dryer, or any heat source
Don't ignore your wet leather piece.
