It’s Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week!
Our animal companions come in all shapes and sizes, but sadly many are often overlooked by potential adopters because they’re a little different.
To help these pets find their loving fur-ever homes, this week is dedicated to raising awareness about their uniqueness and challenge the misconceptions that brand them as 'less adoptable' pets, including:
🐶 Senior and older pets
🐱 Pets with disabilities or medical issues
🐶 Victims of breed prejudice (e.g. bully breeds and black cats)
🐱 Shy or timid pets
🐶 Pet who need to be placed in an only pet home
