What does Pura Vida mean to Brooke? ?
For the last few summers, I have had the opportunity to do life in Costa Rica with the "Ticos," and because of that I have a whole new insight on what Pura Vida means. It translates as Pure Life but the saying goes way beyond that; it is a way of life. Pura Vida is for those who live a laid back lifestyle, full of happiness and low on stress. Pura Vida is a greeting and a farewell, it's a way to express gratitude and optimism. Lastly, Pura Vida encourages one to live a simple, uncluttered life with an appreciation for nature. My goal in life is to live Pura Vida!
