The Air Jordan line tends to be the most deeply inspired by the automotive world. The car/shoe relationship started early with the Air Jordan VI. During the design process of the VI, Michael was pushing a generation 964 Porsche 911 Turbo. It had a massive spoiler that was form fitting to the shape of the body, giving it a very bold and dynamic look.
