Mark-making is as old was we are. Since the Caves of Lascaux, we've used pictures publicly to not only tell stories, but to etch them into our communities and collective memories. If you find a set of initials or a message on the trunk of a tree or on the inside of a school desk, you'll find more - often in dialogue with one another. Cumulatively, these marks make history, a paper trail as simple as a wall of used museum stickers covey the chronology of attendance. Where have you made your mark with stickers? A trailhead? A chairlift? A mountain summit? Share with us @applystickers!
