Urs Fischer's "Minor Problem" follows the tradition of Magritte (who concealed faces with surreal objects: floating apples, birds in flight) and Baldessari (who masked identities with large, colorful spots). Fischer treats what others might consider finished works as canvases, here, transforming the portrait of a man into the portrait of melon.
