While stickers change things, they don’t stick themselves. It’s people who do the hard work. Today is a great day for our country, and the world by extension. It was first & foremost a (prolonged) day of historic participation. And through that, a day we decided to change - to move towards unity & civility; listening & learning; science & stability. The hardest part of the road ahead, undoubtedly, will be the changes we all need to make, not to our institutions, but to ourselves. To recognize that we’re more alike than we are different; that differences don’t require divisions, but discussions; and that we’re stronger together. Let’s enjoy this moment & take the night off, but brace ourselves for whatever it takes to move forward. We can do it. And Joe & Kamala will lead us there! 🧡🗽🇺🇸
