Nope not at first, and not in four years time but by the way we’ve done nothing yet and have so much more to do. This is going to take decades. People in life have done so much more than what we’ve done which is another reason you can’t bang on about yourself which is of course in the brands DNA and hopefully to be embedded in our culture for years to come.
Seriously we were both in full time employment / studies and wanted to do ARNE on the side as a complete hobby and to make a few quid extra to help towards a house deposit each or something. The vision was always there, so strong and natural in terms of the brand, product etc but looking back now there is no other way of describing it other than we were utterly obsessed and consumed by the idea of trying to make ARNE into what we wanted it to be. It’s probably not even been healthy at times but whose arsed if you love it so much. Difficult things and a “work life imbalance” are absolutely worth it to achieve any form of results you thought were out of reach.
Don’t mean to be cringe but we are beyond grateful for all of your support because we’ve said it before but this is a dream and one of our biggest drives is a fear of looking back and not putting absolutely everything into it, thanks again for making this happen 👍
