This is Havana. Trying her best to unzip this dress and escape it. She hates dresses. She hates dressing up. She hates fancy clothes and just wants to wear tights or bike pants and a T-shirt with a sweatshirt and her sports shoes. Kid doesn’t even play sport yet. Which is fine. The hundreds of dresses in her wardrobe passed down from her sissy’s will just sit in hope. But the thing is Havana, it’s your birthday party next week and you’re having your first ever party. With little friends and party games and I thought maybe we could dress up? Put on a dress? I picked this one out cos it wasn’t too frilly and it’s an animal themed party and this is a cute deer. It was your sister Demi’s and she loooved it and I just thought maybe. Maybe. We could get you to wear a dress for your party. So in advance we tested it out today. Things didn’t go well and the dress is back with it’s lonely mates in the wardrobe. Waiting. Hoping. Probably just gunna be donated to charity when mum can let them go. Right now as I type this you are back in your bike pants and T-shirt and sweatshirt with favourite sports shoes. Taking after your big sister Indiana with your distaste for dresses.
