Have you seen our cool new initiative on our website?? When you shop online you get a free gift, but now you get to choose whether or not you take the gift, or donate the cost of the gift to women’s refuge. How cool is that? We will change the charity every few months so that we can share the love around, the love and the moolah.
You get to choose this with any purchase over $100 that’s not a sale item. With orders over $250 you can choose a reusable keep cup or choose to donate to women’s refuge.
Each month we get a report of how many of you chose the donate option, we calculate the cost of those gifts and we will donate on your behalf. We will also tell you how much we have donated each month and show you a copy of the donation.
So maybe sometimes you shout yourselves a gift with purchase, get a new keep cup. Then the next time you shop you might decide you don’t need 2 keep cups so you donate the cost of it to help a sister out who needs it. Cool huh.
Because a community can be built by a brand, together we have proved that, and together we can do our bit to help out those who havnt been so blessed.
Also on that front, now that we are heading into level 2, we are welcoming back charities to our charity shop. That’s the shop we have next to our warehouse, where ever few weeks we welcome a group of ladies from a different charity and they get to come and shop our old stock for free. They each take home 5 garments and a pair of shoes of their choice. On us. Well this was happening until lockdown. Some of these women have never ever had the pleasure of shopping for themselves in a shop and the smiles it has brought to the faces of some very strong incredible women has been heart warming. You just have to spend a few minutes in the shop while a charity is in there to realize the impact a kind gesture has on these ladies that for some, kind gestures are not part of their lives right now.
We have so many more charities lined up this year and we can’t wait to welcome them in through our secretly private doors. From the road you would never know the shop was there, it’s our hidden secret.
