For about 5 years now I have been constantly asked if I will do an activewear collection, and for about that long I have said no. I didn’t want to do activewear until I had the headspace and the vision to do it exactly how I wanted it. Let’s be honest there is no shortage of activewear labels out there in the world, so if you’re going to do one it needs to be unique, it’s needs to be different, it needs to have you’re own handwriting to it, and if it’s going to be from the house of Augustine it needs to scream colour. So I finally decided it was time to do it, and nearly a year and a half later we are ready to launch. Yes it took nearly 18 months of designing, sampling and resampling to get it ready, to get the fit perfect, the fabrication perfect, the design perfect and I kept adding things in just to make the process longer lol. But we made it, I need to do a massive shout out to Serena Fagence and Lisa Wang in my team for alll their time and hard work to get @sweatrepublic_ ready to launch, I actually could not have done it without you both. So here we are, ready to launch on Monday, and I actually can’t quite believe we made it.
