It’s a funny thing saying goodbye, don’t quite know why it makes me emotional because I’m so excited for our new office, but this place has been home for the last 5 years and these walls have seen ALOT. A lot of faces, projects, clothing, blood, sweat and tears. Today we move out and into a bigger space, where all our staff can fit in one building and work more efficiently together.
But, it’s still sad. Like moving house really, and leaving behind the memories, off to make new ones. Havana was a newborn when we moved it and now she’s 5, I have thousands of photos of her stumbling learning to walk on these concrete floors.
Growth though is good, it will make us work harder and be more focused on the future. Growth is good for the soul.
Again, I don’t know why I’m so emotional, then I remember it’s a global pandemic and day 75 of lockdown and I have been emotional for weeks now, what’s another tear hey.
Goodbye little office (that I once thought was big). Thank you for the memories and the good times. Let’s get a new backdrop for those selfies.
