My little elf, getting her work done today with school closed. I just wanted to let mums of young kids know about a programme Havie is using online that is helping her a lot with her reading. Like many of you with young kids, Havies start to school was disrupted by lockdowns and she is a shy learner so the reading hasn’t been coming along well. My sister put me onto Reading Eggs and Havie loves it. This isn’t an ad, just a helpful tip for mums with kids behind in their learning. It’s such a fun website that Havie can do about an hour at a time without loosing interest. It helps with reading and spelling, and believes in teaching kids to sound out the words not just memorise it. She plays the learning game then earns eggs that she gets to spend at the plaza lol to decorate her avatar or house. It’s simple to use and she loves it. So highly recommend giving it a go while home schooling. I find it more engaging than other learning sites for a 6year old. Anyway. Better living everyone.
