All the way down in the south of Chile 🇨🇱 is the archipelago of Chiloé. On Chiloé Island itself, in the town of Castro, you'll find these colourful houses on wooden stilts, called "palafitos", built in the 18 century! 💛⠀

Off the east coast of Chiloé Island, you'll find the incredible Isla Aucar (swipe right to see it from above!), which, depending on the tide, you can walk to from nearby land or is separated from it by the ocean 🌊⠀
