Spending time outside is at the heart of our business here at Backcountry, and its central to the lives of our community and employees alike. So when we realized that day one of #StokeSeries Moab coincided with #EarthDay, we knew we had a unique opportunity to help protect and restore the natural landscapes, habitats and resources that we all enjoy. In celebration of #EarthDay, we, along with some of our amazing ambassadors, joined forces with our decade-long partner, The Nature Conservancy (@nature_org), for a day of service work at their Canyonlands Research Center in Southern Utah. We spent the day building beaver dams–or at least, mimicking beaver dams–to help raise the water levels and, over time, restore water supply to native foliage across this fragile landscape that we care so deeply about.
