On wedding days, I always start with detail photos. This includes the dress, bouquet, jewelry, perfume bottle, shoes, stationery - anything you can think of! "I don't know where you can hang the dress" or "It's kind of ugly in here for pictures" are some phrases I've heard throughout the years. Truthfully, I'm not even worried about those things. Just give me your beautiful details, some window light and a tiny bit of clutter-free space and I'll work my magic! I have styling boards that I made if I absolutely need them or if I'm going for a very specific color scheme, but usually I grab items in the environment I'm shooting in and use them to my advantage.
