Ever find yourself in a place of needing some creative inspiration? This photograph came from one of those moments! It was a moment when I realized the plants out front were really pretty and if I just picked a few things I could have a lot of fun with some faux wedding invitation detail styling! HAHA! And got to try out my homemade styling mat again. If you're a photographer that does not want to spend a lot of money purchasing really pretty styling mats, let me tell you a little secret...Swing by Joann's Fabrics and grab 1 yard of suede upholstery fabric. Take it home, cut it in half, then surge the edges with the sewing machine! (If you don't sew, ask a friend to do it for you!!) I made 6 styling mats this way and it cost me about $30 total. How awesome is that?!?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
