Last week on #weddingtipwednesday I talked about having a timeline - it just helps everyone! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But I want to take the next couple of weeks and talk specifically about different parts of the day - how much time you should allocate for certain things, what potentially could cause it to run over time, or what happens if there's not enough time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let's talk about the FIRST part of the day. Details.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I first arrive, I'll come say hello, grab your bridal details & wedding details. Dress, shoes, veil, flowers, invitations, jewelry, perfume, any sentimental items, etc... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And I capture anywhere from 10-20 photos of just details! I love them! I get closeups of your rings, your jewelry, the invitations, everything! I photograph it all together laid out like this, then each part individually. You put thought into what shoes you'd wear, what earrings, etc... so I want to capture it! These details also help break up and really make a blog post or album spread interesting! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If I have plenty of time, (30-45 min) I get closeups of everything including invites & rings and don't have to grab those during dinner. (Also gives me time to carry everything to better light and set it all up with my styling elements & florals!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If I don't have (less than 20 min) I have to focus on what details I can't get during dinner, which is just bride's details. And I don't get to capture a full styled shot like this one. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So it's up to you & what you envision with these types of photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have some couples that don't care for these, and that's totally cool. we'll take it out of the timeline & move on to candids or leave more time for reception coverage! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
