As the seasons start to shift, now is a great time to shift some of our habits too. 〰️ This illustration by @beachdontkrillmyvibe shares the *big 4* that lots of us can avoid by using some nifty reusables instead. 1. Takeaway cups. Nothing beats a coffee in a proper cup, but when you don’t have a blissful 5 mins to spare swap to a reusable cup and get money off your drinks in lots of coffee shops. Our personal favourite is @ecoffeecup 🌎 2. Plastic straws. (If you can) swap-up plastic straws for reusable metal/bamboo alternatives or better still use what nature gave you 👄 3. Plastic bottles. Treat yourself to a fancy new reusable water bottle. If you’re worried about tap water, there’s now lots available with different types of filters. We’ve found stainless steel is the best at keeping water fresh and chilled 💧 4. Plastic bags. Since the plastic bag charges came into force in the UK, so many people are toting around their lovely reusable bags. Our favourite materials are cotton, jute (good for a heavy food shop) and fold-away “pacabag” bags are super handy to keep in your purse 🐬
