Repost from @justineisland 〰️ "Even though I am well aware of the severity of the plastic problem in our oceans, sometimes I see things that leave me a bit speechless. Bermuda's beaches generally look pretty pristine but now and then when you venture off the beaten track you come across a bay like this one. It was covered in fishing nets and rope and the sand was thick with micro-plastics. As much of the debris as possible was removed, as luckily we discovered it during an organised beach clean up day by @marooned_clothing and @onecommbda at Daniels Head, Bermuda on the weekend. But plenty of work is still left to be done..." 💙
