This dippin' legend ☝️@rebekah_mermaid is braving the wild British waters every single day of 2020 to raise awareness + funds for @bdmlr_uk.
"I volunteer for British Divers Marine Life Rescue as a marine mammal medic, and we get call outs to stranded marine mammals all year round. These call outs come from HQ at @bdmlr_uk and are for medics to attend and help ill or injured marine mammals. This service would not happen if it wasn't for charities like @bdmlr_uk.
I will be getting into water everyday no matter where I am. The sea, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, ponds.
Because of my connection to the sea, this has allowed me to feel that the sea gives us so much, it's only fair to give back. Marine mammals are largely in decline in our seas and supporting @bdmlr_uk will help us properly look at the issues marine mammals are facing and try and protect these beautiful creatures. It will also help rescue and rehabilitate more marine mammals in the future."
