One of the best ways to tackle plastic pollution is with prevention. This time of year we see a lot of rubbish on and around our local beaches, mainly because it's the high season for tourism. More people = more rubbish. It's disheartening to see how much stuff is left behind after a fun day at the beach - it's always a talking point amongst locals. So if you're visiting the beach this summer, make sure to take all your rubbish with you. If your beach neighbours have left theirs behind, maybe grab that too. We shouldn't "have" to clear up after strangers, but sometimes it's either that or in the sea and we know where we'd prefer the rubbish to go. #protectwhatyoulove #doitfortheturtles ☝️
