"plastic islands" by art collective @luzinterruptus 👀 just over a year ago 60,000 plastic bottles appeared in three of the most historic water fountains in the centre of Madrid. the installation was to raise awareness of the volume of single-use plastic being used within the city. you can find the images over at 👉 @luzinterruptus *all the bottles were returned to the city's recycling plant after the installation had ended.
