I was lucky to have been born in an environment in which I’ve always been surrounded by strong and independent women. Bellabeat in big part is a result of that.
I will especially forever be grateful to my mother Tanja who inspired me the most. She worked hard for her careers as an obstetrician and gynaecologist since I can remember. The achievements and goals that she set for herself had a big impact on me and my drive, even though that sometimes meant days when I had to miss her because she was working long days, weekends and nights.
At Bellabeat, we took the opportunity of the upcoming International Women’s Day to speak to some of the women that inspire us daily and discuss their personal and professional lives to open up topics that are close to all women. We started the Inspirational Women interviews in the hopes of leading conversations that will inspire and support women in achieving everything they want in life. ?
