Water scarcity affects more than 40 per cent of the global population, and is projected to rise. On the other hand, more than 80 per cent of wastewater resulting from human activities is discharged into rivers or sea without any pollution removal.
These figures all lead to only one conclusion: world water and sanitation issues are starting to affect all of us and should as such be taken very seriously, by all of us.
