In this week’s instalment of #TheMakers, we tour floral designer @puni.petals’ colourful Los Angeles apartment. Finding a new home can be a gruelling process, but for Puni, the search for her West Hollywood apartment couldn't have been more simple. “I found it on Craigslist and came sight unseen from Thailand!” she shares. “I came here without knowing what it was really going to look like outside of a tiny screen.” Over the years, Puni has created a pastel-hued paradise that she now loves to call home. “It has seen me through all of my metamorphoses, I spent almost all of my 20s here. I never really had a choice but to make this my home, and I really did through the life I’ve lived here.” Her vibrant and eclectic abode is the result of meticulous collecting and patience. “It takes forever to build a space that reflects who you are and the stories that make up your life – I think styling/decorating a home takes years and years and it should be an ever-changing journey,” Puni says. The off-white walls are mere canvases for her growing art collection, bespoke ceramics, and alluring floral arrangements which live harmoniously among her playful objets d’art and vintage furniture pieces. “I love a balance of something old, something new, some neutrals, some pops of colour… Your home shouldn’t feel like everything is bought all at the same time from one single catalogue.” For the full tour of Puni's home head to the ‘Home Tours’ section of the Bed Threads Journal or our Instagram Stories now. 📱✨ Follow the 🔗 in our bio. 📸 @lauraflippen 🪄 @danielle___armstrong
