In this week's instalment of #TheMakers, we tour editor-in-chief and founder of slow living homewares brand Casa Zuma, Camille Styles’ organic modern home in Austin, Texas. ✨ Deciding to start a career in the digital world is always a risk, with technology and trends constantly changing, it can be hard for business owners to keep up with the demand put before them. However, editor-in-chief and founder of homewares brand @casa.zuma, @camillestyles, has found a balance between successfully running her direct-to-consumer home goods brand, while remaining true to her business values. ✨ Having always loved expressing herself through writing and visuals, Camille completed a journalism major at school, which ended up being the perfect foundation for her to build her self-titled publication. After years of hard work were put into her digital publication, Camille saw an opportunity for business growth. ✨ Camille discovered her home over 12 years ago, after falling in love with the beautiful views of Austin that the property provided, and the array of lush greenery that surrounds their one acre lot. ✨ It took two years for Camille to build the house from the ground up, resulting in the gorgeous finished product we see before us now. ✨ For the full tour of Camille's home head to the ‘Home Tours’ section of the Bed Threads Journal or our Instagram Stories now. 📱✨ Photography by @lindseabrown and styling by @clairezinnecker for @bed.threads Journal. 💫
