In this week's instalment of #TheMakers, we tour artist Gabriella Picone’s loft apartment in New York City ✨
New York-based artist and designer @gabbbber always knew she wanted to be an artist. From an early age, she was an individual with a keen sense of observation and a strong desire to interpret the traditions and decorative arts of her Sicilian heritage. In 2019 she founded @iddastudio, an art and design studio specialising in textiles, paintings, and ceramics. ✨
Like most apartments in New York City, Gabriella's loft space is small, yet the 14-foot ceilings and large windows make it feel spacious. Art can be found in all corners of this home, even in the bathroom where Gabriella created a custom tile for the shower nook. ✨
