In this week's instalment of #TheMakers, we visit the Melbourne home and studio of @claredubina, one of the artists taking part in our inaugural Bed Threads Gallery group show. ✨
Clare's rental abode is filled with meaningful décor from her father's homeland, Sri Lanka, among other sentimental pieces and a collection of art. "Being home is my favourite place to be, so it’s important to be surrounded by cherished and inspiring pieces," she tells Bed Threads Journal.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Clare draws inspiration from earthy elements that prevail throughout her space, down to the Rust Stripe linen that outfits her primary bedroom: "I am also quite partial to earthy tones and textures which is obvious in my collection of pottery and my slow-growing art collection." 💫
