Happy Earth Day! 🌏✨ Today we're taking the time to reflect on issues such as climate change and environmental degradation, and reexamine what more we can do to help keep our beautiful Earth healthy.
At Bed Threads, we strive to do business in a way that's right for us and our planet. For us, this means:
☁️ We are fully carbon neutral. We offset 100% of the carbon emissions our business is responsible for by investing in biodiverse reforestation planting in south-west Australia.
🚫 We say no to plastic. Our linen is packaged in (surprise!) more linen and is shipped in a 100% recyclable cardboard box, so you’re not left with excess plastic each time you place an order.
🌾 We limit waste. Our products are made from 100% French flax linen, a natural fabric derived from the flax plant. Every part of the flax plant is utilised, and less water and pesticides are used in production compared to other manchesters. Plus, our linen is recyclable, biodegradable, and coloured exclusively with eco-friendly dyestuff.
