At Bed Threads, we’re proud to say we are officially 100% Carbon Neutral! 💫
We don't need to tell you the environment is in crisis. This, you already know. And one of the simplest things we can do to help save our planet is becoming fully carbon neutral. This means, we will measure, reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions where possible, doing our bit to protect and conserve Australia’s biodiversity. The area we’ve chosen to support is The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. This is a multi-species native reforestation project located in Southwest Australia. You might not have heard of it, but it's a global biodiversity hotspot. It removes 1.897 million tonnes of carbon in a region where over 90 per cent of the woodland is cleared. This project aims to remove existing carbon from the atmosphere today, and to recreate a healthy and functioning landscape, restored after decades of habitat loss and degradation.
