It was a trip to France that sparked much of the design inspiration for @lisadanielle__'s farmhouse-style home tucked away in the #ByronBay hinterland. Working with French architect Carole Huard, Lisa and her husband Jamie’s provincial-style estate came together more quickly and easily than they expected. Perhaps this was due to the building’s small size, coming in at a compact 80-square-metres. Moving from bustling Melbourne to slower-paced Byron Bay - where they feel much more grounded - Lisa and Jamie cherish having friends over to entertain in the hinterland. They plan to finish the outdoor landscaping and add an al fresco kitchen area. Still, there’s no rush. “I feel like we can relax a little bit now,” Lisa says.
