Our commitment to our community ❤️
Like many of you, we were crushed by the unjust deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and all the others who came before them. We spent the last week mourning, protesting, learning and increasing our commitment to racial justice. Specifically, at Birdies, we remain committed to the following:
·Standing with our black employees, customers and partners in the face of racism. ·Amplifying the voices and highlighting the faces of black women on our platform. ·Building a diverse and inclusive work environment. Currently, 14% of our employees are Black, 14% Asian, 10% Latina. And 90% of us are women. ·Donating to organizations that fight for racial and social justice. This month we donated $10,000 to the NAACP and the ACLU.
·Speaking truth to power and refusing to be silenced.
