2 years of Bonito 🎉
2 years of learning every day! Helping women look good while doing good has become my passion, and I couldn’t have done this without the 14,000 women who shopped from us! I also couldn’t have done this without all the beautiful people that helped me along the way (you know who you are!).
Entrepreneurship is a lot harder than I thought it would be, thankfully I was naive enough and just started without thinking much about it!
We are still a tiiiiny company, I’m still working most of the time from my home office, I still feel like a baby in this journey, but it’s so exciting! When I’m frustrated or feeling completely lost (which happens very often) I like to look back at some of these pictures and remember everything I’ve been through already. Then I feel the certainty that I can keep moving forward!
In these pictures you’ll see:
1. One of the first earrings I designed, NY Earrings, we still sell them!
2. A little time lapse of the first collection I had to pack and send from Bali to our fulfillment center in the US. I was up until 5am packing them and writing down their names, it was so exciting!
3. A little video of me playing with the kids at the @greenschoolbali . It was a dream I had to work with them, and it was better than I could have hoped for! Forever grateful for this incredible place 🍀
4. A typical scooter ride when I’m in Bali, carrying thousands of dollars in jewelry in a box to take to the post office 😂 the fear of this box falling on the road was constant!
5. Helping @trashhero_canggu with their Saturday’s beach clean up!
6. Our communications manager (aka my right hand, a do-everything-manager, a super star!) holding all the goodies we brought back from Bali to our office
7. Memories of our first backpack donations in Lombok, we can’t wait to be able to go back and see these cuties again!
