Winter has arrived in Australia which makes me want to go to Bali even more. I wonder if we will be allowed to travel there this year at all. As a small business owner producing in another country, it’s very important to often visit our production partners to continue building our relationship. It can be very challenging managing the production via WhatsApp and emails, making sure the new collection has the quality standards we aim for! Thankfully we have found family-owned jewelry businesses in Bali and India, who already have incredible craftsmanship and dozens of years of experience. We trust each other, they understand my child-like hand-drawings, and hopefully soon I’ll be back to have a coffee at their gorgeous home and to talk about beautiful ways of turning metal into wearable art! #doingbonito
