Today marks the 5th anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh. More than 1,100 people lost their lives and 2,500 were injured due to unsafe working conditions. This horrific tragedy forced many people to ask themselves, what is the human price we are willing pay for cheap, fast-fashion? Thankfully, consumers are asking more questions, becoming more aware of their impact, and the industry really feels like it is shifting, albeit slowly. Today, we addressed how ethical manufacturing, sustainability, and inclusivity have been central to our business model from the start and the future plans we have for improving.
