In one instant you’re in your routine, totally well and fine. Busy raising babies, busy doing life. And in the next can be life changing. Over the last few days I’ve witnessed my family crumble to pieces, broken hearted by terrible news of my dad having metastatic lung cancer that spread to his brain. Doctors believe he’s had it for a year, but with his multiple surgeries throughout his life and consistent discomfort, I don’t think he ever imagined it to be caused by this. We’re not sure he even wants to fight or physically could withstand it. He’s so frail already and having an aggressive cancer like this I just don’t know. All I know if I’ve never seen my dad cry, weeping in my mom’s arms and realizing his own mortality. Appreciate all the good and find the light in life’s darkest moments guys. ?
