I’m a homebody through & through— maybe that’s not typical? ? This doesn’t mean I don’t love adventures, traveling to see family & friends & exploring new places, it just means that I am fueled by the slow, cozy, simple musings that happen at home. I feel like I’ve progressively become more & more this way with time & I have zero complaints about it. ?? We haven’t had a weekend without an agenda since the beginning of June & we leave Sunday at 5am for another week away. ? I’m excited to make memories as a family (this time on the west coast!) but my body is yearning for a calm, quiet weekend at home. Thank goodness for STELLAR house-sitters like @rachdewb who loved on our kitties, brought in boxes of books on her own birthday & took tender loving care of our new mail-order-plant ?? (yes that’s totally a thing & it’s totally AMAZING) from @leonandgeorge making it much easier to return home & jump right back into my homebody swing of things. (Humor me— is anyone else a homebody too?!)
