To me reading is proof that I am not alone. That the things I think about-both silly and profound have often been contemplated by others, memorialized and bound. I have read books that have changed the way I see the world. I have read books that transport me to another place and time. There are books that I read over and over again because they make me feel the kind of magic I could never find binge watching a show on Netflix. “The Great Gatsby” by F Scott Fitzgerald is one such book.
