We are all visited by dark nights.
When they come, mindfulness practice invites us to be present to the darkness.
Because in being present with what is, we can know it more completely.
Not every “bad” experience contains “good.”
But some dark nights do hold stars.
And some, also, a waxing moon.
When we allow ourselves to be with the dark, its many shades become visible, and whatever is luminous will reveal itself.
We become witness, again, to the changing nature of everything.
Remembering that, always, dawn returns.
🌙 In a dark night, where do you find light?
