A note from our meditation instructor, @TamaraLevitt. đđ± Hello friends, Happy 2019!
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and are feeling excited about the year to come. Itâs a welcome time of openness and change. We can view whatâs to come as a blank slate, full of possibility. This month, weâll be launching Daily Calm sessions to help support and inspire the change you seek.
First, we have New Years themed sessions such as, âBeginningsâ, âDreamingâ, and âIntentionsâ to help you focus on what you want to invite into your life.
If youâre looking to break habits and build some new healthier ones, make sure you donât miss âCravings,â âAddictionsâ, âActivityâ, and âPractice.â In â5, 4, 3, 2, 1,â weâll offer a technique to reduce overwhelm. In âBreathe Gratitudeâ weâll weâll tap into gratitude for our body. And in âMindful Media,â weâll explore how to bring mindfulness to our consumption of media.
Weâll explore Mindfulness Principles such as impermanence in âMandalaâsâ which discusses how our openness to change and impermanence is a path to ease. In âNo Thank You,â we explore a technique for softening the grip of our mind in order to let go of our stories, and in âDeep Diving,â weâll explore the process of Deep Surrender.
Weâll discuss the power of perception in sessions like âGifts of failure,â we explore our tendency to want to relive positive memories in âRecreating the Past,â and for those who are deliberating change, in âThe Time is Now,â youâll learn to leap in times of uncertainty.
Last, as usual, weâll be introducing interesting phrases and teachings such as Hakuna Matada, Nefelibata, The Middle Way, and Headwinds.
As you step into this new year, inviting change and hopes and dreams, remember to be patient in your progress, gentle with your self and to applaud the courageous person who you are in your becoming.
With love,
Tamara
