30 | Open up to a new year To resolve or not to resolve? There is no wrong or right, although both camps will often have you believe otherwise. If you resolve to do anything in 2019, we advise doing what’s right for you. Whether you set any intentions for 2019 or not, it’s worth taking a moment think about the year ahead. What are your hopes for 2019? How do you want to take care of yourself in 2019. What do you want to cultivate in 2019? Who do you want to spend time with this year? How do you want to feel in 2019? What will help or hinder your efforts to live well in the year ahead? Do you want to make intentions/commitments/resolutions? Why or why not? Some hopes for 2019 from the Calm team: Jade: I hope to have a healthy 2019, with a good work-life balance and a some new experiences that get me outside of my comfort zone. One intention of mine is to finish paying off my studies from last year, by spending mindfully. Christi-an: My intention is to offer myself more space and time to move slow, listen and rest. Just recently I’ve started going to bed earlier to give myself plenty of time to get a good night’s sleep. I want to carry this habit into the new year. I hope to feel energized and grounded.
