To help support the community, we’re partnering with @trevorproject, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people, and offering mental health resources for their crisis services volunteers. The Trevor Project estimates that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ youth seriously consider suicide each year in the US — and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds. However, Trevor has found that LGBTQ youth who had access to spaces that affirmed their sexual orientation and gender identity reported lower rates of attempting suicide than those who did not.
