The #1 trick to caring for your skin? Knowing your skin 🧖‍♀️ Learning your skin’s specific needs will help you to choose a routine that will balance your skin and result in a healthier, more radiant complexion. All skin types can benefit from the usual daily cleanse and application of moisturizer and SPF and plugging in a humidifier by your bedside, but the unique skin types (oily, dry, normal, combination and sensitive) have different needs. Swipe to the left to take our Skin Type Quiz and share it with a friend ✏️ If you took the quiz and have... 🧖‍♀️ Oily Skin: There are benefits to having oily skin (like fewer wrinkles - woo!). Look for products labeled “non-comedogenic” as these won’t clog up your pores. Be sure not to over-cleanse, as drying out your pores can cause them to produce even more oil to compensate. Be sure to use an oil-free moisturizer, yes, you still need to be moisturizing 👏 🧖‍♀️ Dry Skin: Your goal is to hydrate and seal in moisture 💧 Try ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, which draws moisture to the surface of the skin. Avoid using any harsh products that contain fragrances and alcohols!  Use a heavier moisturizer at night when your skin is prone to losing moisture. And of course, be sure you’re drinking enough H20! 💦 🧖‍♀️ Combination Skin : Your goal is to achieve balance. Multi-masking can address the unique concerns for each area of your face. Use spot treatments or toners to help balance out the skin and leave you feeling refreshed 🌟 🧖‍♀️ Normal Skin: You most likely experience almost no sensitivity, dryness or oiliness. Your skin can tolerate most (clean!) ingredients, meaning you can have fun testing the newest makeup products and can experiment with cleansers, moisturizers and masks until you find exactly what works for you and fits with your routine. 🧖‍♀️ Sensitive Skin: You’re more prone to irritation, redness, and potential breakouts. Here's our tip:  Avoid irritants like sulfates, fragrances, and alcohol. Look for products that have calming, healing or anti-inflammatory properties. What type of skin do you have? 👇
