Here in Byron Bay, the ocean isn't just our playground, it's our source of vitality, so we're always keen to use our platform to support incredible humans that are using their gifts to improve the health and longevity of our greatest asset. On the journal today, @baylee_blazing sat down with Leo from @leobellisjones and @ripl_goods to learn more about how he's helping reduce waste in our North-West neighbouring playground of Indonesia, whilst also giving back to the community who has given us so much warmth and hospitality over the years. "Our mission is to end the cycle of plastic and poverty in Bali. We sell a range of beautiful insulated water bottles and use the proceeds to employ locals in Bali to collect plastic from beaches. We then take the plastic they collect and use it to manufacture water purifiers, which we donate back to their communities so they don't have to rely on bottled water. It's a circular system that makes ocean plastic useful again."   Read more and learn how you can help to, via the link in our bio.
