'We belong to it this country'
Today marks a day of deep trauma and destruction for our First Nations people. Today, and every day, we stand in solidarity with them, and we reject this day as a day of celebration. Today, and every day, we mourn the losses that the Indigenous population have suffered as a result of colonisation, and continue to suffer as a result of naivety, ignorance and passive racism. We pledge ourselves as allies, by not taking this day as a holiday, and instead using our small platform to encourage you to educate yourselves as we continue to by following and supporting the following weapons who continue to do the work to shift our collective conscience on what January 26 really represents

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, the Arakwal of the Bundjalung, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Always was, always will be.
