Over the next couple months I thought I would run through the collection in chronological order of the Childe brands eyewear designs providing some insight into how what become who ♾️
The DEBASER was the original and quite possibly still my favourite #Childeeyewear design
A big bold chunky aviator, full of pure loud Rock n Roll style with attitude. The 1950’s rockabilly vibes inspired this 1970’s design with the uplift on the eyeliners of the brow which made me always imagine this sunglass was the love Childe of Little Richard x Elvis Presley
The name of the sunglass comes from the Pixies iconic song - DEBASER - brash loud emotional alternative surf punk rock from the 1989 album Doolittle
The Debaser sunglass is the foundation piece of the Childe Hand Made Bio Acetate collection - hand crafted in Italy by family owned boutique eyewear artisans.
Eco luxe Mazzucchelli M49 bio acetate frames produced from certified organic cotton and wood pulp fibres from regenerative farming. Complimented with premium lightweight scratch resistant plant based nylon bio lenses.
