Picturesque and famous for the worlds biggest waves. Hundreds of years of local fishing culture that gives Nazare an authentic vibrancy and colourful atmosphere during the peak of summer.
The religious history and folklore is fascinating
Driving in to town through the region of Oeste the roads are flanked by pear orchards so we grabbed a couple under the rolling vineyards with the smell of salt and sardines in the air.
